Qualifications

As a child, Chayya could predict the future. Her clairaudient abilities came to her at an early age. By the time she hit those turbulent teenage years, she was knee-deep into her studies of telepathy, channeling, past lives, clairvoyance and clairaudience. As important as these skills have become to her, the one that stands out as her personal favorite has been her work with spirits. As her skills and confidence grew, she added psychometry to her bag of tricks. All she needed was a set of keys, a necklace, or a letter to touch, and she’d receive impressions about its owner. Later, Chayya determined that one of the ways she could best help others was to become a teacher, passing on her gifts to those in need. She is now equally satisfied to be both teacher and reader. It’s been a long and challenging journey, made more difficult by her strict catholic upbringing. But over time, she’s learned to celebrate her abilities with the grace and pride that is Chayya.

Years of professional psychic readings have given Chayya a wealth of wisdom and knowledge. She is equally at home reading for individuals as she is for large groups. She’s aided police in missing person investigations, and has reached out internationally to clients, helping them to find their true paths in life. Her work with spirits has been documented in a book called GHOSTS OF NY, which details a reading she gave in a famous haunted hotel. Those findings have since been verified in local archives.

Personal

Her birth sign is Capricorn. Admittedly she is stubborn and opinionated, but has a heart of gold. Of late, she’s been tested with the challenges that only the strongest of souls can handle. For eighteen months, she worried over the safety of her daughter who was serving a hitch in Iraq. Fortunately, she is now home and going back to college. Sadly, her youngest son didn’t fare as well. In April of 2004, he was in a car accident that left him in a temporary coma. When he awoke twenty five days later, he suffered severe brain damage. Chayya has said that the spirits and angels carried him through his darkest hours and she is filled with profound gratitude that he is alive. Her miraculous family includes three children, a devoted husband and an army of cats, dogs, fish and birds.
